Terms of use
Draft. This document is awaiting legal review and should not be treated as final.
These terms govern your use of the Zakaži app and website. By using the service you accept them. They are written to be readable – if anything is unclear, write to us at support@tryzakazi.com.
1. Who we are
Zakaži is provided by Stevan Tošić pr ST-TECH, Stojana Protića 22/2, 34000 Kragujevac, company number 67993195, tax number 114971551.
2. What Zakaži is, and what it is not
Zakaži is a booking intermediary. We show you salons, their services and their free slots, and we pass your booking on to the salon.
Zakaži does not provide the service you book. The haircut, the treatment, the massage or anything else is provided by the salon, with its own resources and on its own responsibility. The contract for that service is between you and the salon, not you and us.
What follows from that is the most important thing to understand:
- The salon is responsible for the quality of the service, the price it charges, the conduct of its staff, the conditions in the salon and keeping to the time booked.
- The salon enters and maintains its own details – opening hours, services, prices, descriptions and available slots. We display them as the salon enters them and cannot guarantee they are accurate at every moment.
- If something goes wrong with the service itself, contact the salon first. We will gladly help find a resolution, but we cannot decide on the salon’s behalf.
3. Your account
- You can open an account if you are at least 15 years old. If you are younger, a parent or guardian can open one.
- The details you enter must be accurate, above all your name and phone number – that is how the salon recognises you and reaches you if something changes.
- Your account is personal to you. Do not share your password, and tell us if you suspect someone else has accessed it.
- You can delete your account at any time, from the app’s settings. Exactly what happens to your data is set out in the privacy policy.
4. Booking, changes and cancellation
- A booking is a request to the salon. The appointment stands once the salon confirms it, and you receive that confirmation in the app and through a notification if you have them enabled.
- The salon may change or cancel an appointment, for instance because a staff member is ill or because of circumstances beyond its control. We do our best to let you know as soon as possible, but the decision is the salon’s.
- Cancelling on your side, the notice required and the consequences of not turning up are the salon’s rules, not ours. Some salons charge for a no-show or decline further bookings. Zakaži does not set, charge or keep such fees.
- We do not guarantee that a particular slot, staff member or service will be available. Availability changes in real time, and someone else may book the same slot before you.
5. Payment
Zakaži charges clients nothing for booking. The client app is free and there is no commission per booking. Salons pay separately for the business subscription described in section 12.
You pay for the service directly to the salon, by the means the salon offers and at the price the salon sets. The price shown in the app is what the salon entered and is indicative – what counts is the price the salon charges on the spot, particularly if the scope of the service changes during the visit.
6. Health, safety and whether a service suits you
Many of the services booked through Zakaži act on the body: hair colour and products, waxing, facial treatments, lash glue, nails. Whether a given service is safe for you depends on your health, your allergies, medication you take, pregnancy and previous reactions.
- Tell the salon, directly and before the service. The salon performs the service and is the only party able to judge whether it suits you. The booking note is not a substitute for that conversation, and there is no guarantee a staff member reads it in time.
- Zakaži does not assess whether a service suits you. We do not know your history, we have no insight into your health, and we do not verify a salon’s qualifications for any particular treatment.
- Zakaži gives no professional advice – not medical, not cosmetic, not legal, not financial. Content in the app, including the assistant’s replies, is informational and does not replace advice from a qualified person.
- The salon that performed a treatment is responsible for an adverse reaction, an injury or the outcome, under the rules governing its trade.
If you need help after a service, see a doctor, not us.
7. The Zakaži assistant
At salons that enable it, the app offers a booking assistant you talk to in ordinary sentences.
- The assistant can be wrong. Its replies are composed by an automated system, which may misunderstand what you asked for or state something about the salon inaccurately.
- No appointment exists until you confirm it yourself. The assistant prepares a draft; the booking reaches the salon only after your explicit confirmation. Check the service, date and time before you confirm.
- Do not treat the assistant as a source of professional advice. It books appointments and nothing more.
- The number of messages to the assistant is limited so the service stays available to everyone. We may switch the assistant off temporarily or withdraw it.
How the content of the conversation is processed is set out in section 5 of the privacy policy.
8. How the service may be used
By accepting these terms you undertake not to:
- book appointments you do not intend to attend, or book in someone else’s name without their permission;
- open accounts with false details or someone else’s details;
- harvest content from the platform automatically, place undue load on it, or work around its limits;
- attempt to access other people’s accounts or parts of the system not intended for you;
- enter content into any field that is unlawful, abusive, or someone else’s.
If you do not keep to this, we may restrict or withdraw your access. For serious or repeated breaches we may do so immediately, and we will tell you the reason unless the law prevents us.
9. Availability
We work to keep Zakaži running continuously, but we do not offer it with a guarantee of uninterrupted operation. The service may be unavailable because of maintenance, a fault, or circumstances beyond our control. Where possible, we give notice of planned maintenance in advance.
We may change features, add them and remove them. If we remove a feature you actively use, we will tell you beforehand.
Notifications are not guaranteed. We send confirmations and reminders through Apple’s and Google’s notification delivery services, and we cannot guarantee that every message arrives, or when. Your settings, your network, battery saving or the operating system itself can all prevent delivery. A reminder is a convenience, not a record – your appointments are your responsibility. Every booking you have made is visible in the app at any time.
App stores and devices. You download and update the app through the App Store and Google Play, under those stores’ rules. We do not guarantee that the app runs on every device or every version of an operating system; we support the versions stated on the store listing, and older devices fall out of support over time.
10. Liability
We are liable for damage we cause intentionally or through gross negligence, and in every other case where liability cannot be excluded by law.
We are not liable for:
- the quality, scope or price of the service the salon provides, nor for anything that happens in the salon itself;
- the accuracy of the details the salon has entered;
- a change or cancellation of an appointment by the salon, or the salon failing to attend;
- damage arising because the service was temporarily unavailable;
- damage arising because you did not receive a notification, where the cause lies with your device, your network or your settings.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits the rights you have as a consumer under the mandatory law of the Republic of Serbia.
11. Content and rights
The app, the website, the Zakaži name and mark, and all content we have created are ours and protected by intellectual property law. You may use them in order to use the service, and no further.
Content you enter – booking notes, your profile picture, messages to the assistant – remains yours. You grant us the right to store it, display it and pass it to the salon to the extent needed for the service to work.
12. For salons
A salon using the business side of Zakaži takes on several obligations, which apply alongside these terms:
- to keep its details, services, prices and opening hours accurate;
- to hold the right to use every image it uploads – logo, cover image, pictures of its work or its premises – and to have the consent of every person identifiable in them, staff and clients included;
- to honour confirmed appointments and to state its cancellation rules clearly to clients;
- to use client data reached through Zakaži solely to provide the service and keep its own records, in accordance with data protection law;
- to answer as the data controller for everything it does with that data independently, including internal notes and its own communication with clients.
By uploading content, the salon grants us a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to display it in the app, in the business dashboard and in material presenting the platform itself, for as long as the salon is on Zakaži. We may remove content reported to us as someone else’s or as posted without consent.
For clients the salon enters into the system itself, who have no Zakaži account, the salon is the controller and Zakaži is the processor. That processing requires a separate agreement between the salon and us.
Business subscription, trial and payment
The subscription price depends on the plan, billing frequency, staff seats and optional AI assistant you select. The checkout shows the recurring price, any eligible discount and an estimated tax-inclusive total before you start. Paddle confirms the final currency, tax and amount when you add a card. Any early-owner offer is limited to eligible owners and available places; if it changes before a cardless trial starts, we ask you to review the new price first.
An eligible owner can use one free one-month trial. A trial started with a card renews into a paid subscription at the displayed interval unless canceled before the trial ends. A trial started without a card does not charge you or continue as a paid subscription unless you add a payment method before it ends. If you have already used a trial, a new subscription may be payable immediately; review the checkout before confirming.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Zakaži provides the software and support for using it. Your purchase is subject to Paddle Buyer Terms, our Refund Policy and these terms. We do not receive your full card details. Invoices are available through the business dashboard. The subscription renews at its current monthly or annual interval until canceled. Before you confirm a plan change, the dashboard shows any immediate charge or credit and the next recurring amount. Changes may take effect immediately or at the next billing period as shown in that quote.
Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel from the business dashboard before your next charge. A paid subscription or trial with a card remains available until the end of the current billing period or trial, as shown in the dashboard. A trial without a card can end immediately when canceled. You may reverse a scheduled cancellation before it takes effect. If you delete your account, we first request cancellation of any remaining subscriptions: paid subscriptions and trials with a card at the end of their current period, and cardless trials immediately. Account deletion ends your access immediately, even when a subscription cancellation takes effect later. If Paddle cannot confirm cancellation, the account stays open so you can retry or contact support@tryzakazi.com.
Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not automatically refund a payment already made. To request a refund or report a billing error, contact Paddle Buyer Support or use the link in your Paddle receipt. You can also write to support@tryzakazi.com for help with your subscription. Refunds are handled by Paddle under our Refund Policy, Paddle’s Refund Policy and applicable law. Nothing here limits any mandatory refund or consumer rights you may have.
13. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. The date of the last change is shown at the top of the page. We will tell you about significant changes in the app or by email before they take effect. If you do not agree with them, you can cancel your subscription and stop using the service.
14. Ending your use
You can stop using the service at any time. Account deletion requests cancellation of your business subscription as described in section 12. Deleting your account does not cancel appointments that are already confirmed – cancel them first, or contact the salon.
We may withdraw your access in the cases set out in section 8, and if we discontinue the service permanently, of which we would give you advance notice.
15. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Serbia. Disputes fall to the competent court in Kragujevac, save that a consumer always retains the right to bring proceedings before the court of their place of residence and to attempt to resolve the dispute out of court through the body responsible for consumer protection.
